Armstrong Milling and it's staff are passionate about being the best in the world at blending and shipping wild bird seed. We will be the supplier of choice for wild bird seed customers looking to purchase a full range of products.
Armstrong Milling was formed in August 1986. We began operating in
Caistorville, Ontario with an early focus on blending and packaging Pigeon grain for the racing pigeon enthusiast. Soon other products were added such as wild bird seed and domestic cage bird and other commodities. By the early 90's Armstrong had established itself as a primary supplier to the Ontario Pet retail trade and other independent retailers as a reliable supplier of bird seed mixes and grains.
By 1994 Armstrong had out grown its facility and moved the sales office and manufacturing to the village of Nelles Corners, Ontario. Located 30 minutes south of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on Hwy # 3 .
This newer and larger facility offered more potential and by the end of 1995 had taken us to new sales levels. Early in 2000 a large expansion was added to facilitate more warehousing and office space. The current facility can accommodate over 1000 skids of finished bird seed material with 4 receiving bays and 3 loading bays along with numerous staging rows. The new facility also offers access to raw material by rail and its relatively close proximity to the US border gives Armstrong the opportunity to service Ontario, Quebec, the Maritimes and good access to Northeast United States.
Armstrong not only packages it own branded line of Wild Bird Seed and Domesticated Cage Bird Mixes, but also packages Pigeon Mixes and associated commodities. In addition to our own brand of products we also manufacture and package a large portion of private label products for our clients.
The future of Armstrong Milling will be a continued focus to provide our customers with the best quality birdseed mixes at the most competitive price with service that is second to none.
