Seasonal Suggestion - Crit’r Cobs
Ever sat looking out the window on one those cold blistery snowy days or nights wondering how wild animals are coping in such a harsh environment?
In the wild most animals will forage for food that is most easily available. In most areas of North America the farming community provides a food source in which these creatures will utilize. The most popular is corn. Corn acreage in North America attributes to approximately 90 million acres. That’s a lot of corn! Not all of the corn however is totally harvested in the fall. It is common that cobs and kernels of corn are lost on the ground as it is mechanically picked. This loss to the farmer is the gain of any wild creature that is in pursuit of food.
